Laminated glass is a type of safety glass with an interlayer, typically of polyvinyl butyral (PVB) or ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA), between its two or more layers of glass. Teflon coated glass fabric is used in the vacuum process.
Due to its safety, security and noise control properties, laminated glass find wide applications in the construction industry, architecture and interior design. Laminated glass is made of two or more layers of glass sandwiched with the pvb diaphragm between them and treated by high temperature and high pressure. MUTIFLON PTFE mesh sheet is used as a release sheet during this bonding process because the mesh withstands high temperature, provide good release surface and excellent porosity under pressure. Normally our MT6008 with 4x4mm mesh hole is used in this application, any size can be customized according to different machines.
MUTIFLON provides more durable PTFE mesh sheet in stronger weft and warp which will extend its life a lot.
