Brief Introduction of Teflon High-Temperature Fabric for Solar Laminator

Ⅰ. Main performance characteristics of PTFE high temperature fabric for laminator

1. The high temperature fabric of the laminator can be used for a long time at a high temperature of 200℃-360℃ without changing its performance.

2. It can withstand the low temperature of -50℃--70℃ without changing the performance.

3. Anti-stick: not easy to adhere to any substance. PTFE high temperature fabric is easy to clean all kinds of oil stains, stains or other attachments attached to its surface; almost all adhesive substances such as paste, resin, paint can be easily removed.

4. It is resistant to chemical corrosion, strong acid, strong alkali, aqua regia and various organic solvents, and is resistant to almost all pharmaceutical items.

5. The friction coefficient of the high temperature fabric of the laminator is low, only 0.05-0.1, which is the best choice for oil-free self-lubrication.

6. PTFE high temperature fabric has high insulation performance (small dielectric constant: 2.6, tangent below 0.0025).

7. It is anti-static and has a surface resistance of up to 1016 ohms.

8. It is fire retardant. It will not burn even in the presence of an open flame.

9. The high temperature fabric of the laminator is weather resistant, anti-aging and anti-ultraviolet. There have been experiments, and its performance has remained unchanged for 30 years in the wild.

Ⅱ. The main use of PTFE high temperature fabric

1. high temperature fabric, high temperature anti-sticking cloth, high temperature non-stick cloth, high temperature laminated cloth, high temperature cover cloth, high temperature pad cloth for inner lamination of laminator.

When the laminator presses the solar photovoltaic modules, the high-temperature anti-sticking cloth is placed on the top and bottom layers of the photovoltaic modules respectively as a cover cloth and a backing cloth.

Use the anti-adhesion of PTFE high temperature fabric to prevent EVA film and other substances from sticking to the laminator at high temperature.

Usual use method: high temperature anti-stick cloth + glass + EVA + battery sheet + EVA + back plate + high temperature anti-stick cloth


Small laminator (semi-automatic): regular width: within 1.25m.

Large laminator (automatic): conventional width: (super wide) 1.8m, 2.0m, 2.2m, 2.4m, etc., the length is generally within 3.5m.

Common thickness of PTFE high temperature fabric: 0.18mm, 0.22mm, 0.25mm, 0.3mm, 0.35mm, 0.45mm

Regular colors: brown (coffee color), black, white

2. Conveyor belt in the laminator, and high temperature anti-stick conveyor belt

The main battery parts in the automatic laminator are conveyed by high-temperature anti-stick Teflon conveyor belts. Since the laminator is evacuated, in order to prevent the cloth from sucking the board, the surface of the high-temperature anti-stick conveyor belt is required to have lines, and at the same time, the friction force is also large, which is conducive to transportation. The tension of the conveyor belt should not be too large during conveying.


Conventional width: (super wide) 1.8m, 2.0m, 2.2m, 2.4m, 2.8m, etc., the length is generally about 10m.

Conventional thickness: 0.22mm, 0.25mm, 0.3mm, 0.35mm

Regular color: brown (coffee color), black teflon high temperature fabric, white

Precautions for using:

Before cutting the anti-stick cloth and installing it on the machine, please try to keep the surface of the high-temperature cloth as flat as possible without wrinkles, otherwise it will cause creases on the surface of the high-temperature cloth, which will affect the service life.

In use, if there is EVA glue or other residues on the surface of the PTFE high temperature fabric, just wipe it with a semi-wet cotton cloth.

The color of different batches of anti-sticking cloth may be different, which is normal, so that it will not affect the quality of the product, and it will not affect the use.
